SFIFF 2008 Director's Award Announced

After tributing Herzog and Spike Lee,
an improvement is not very likely.
No one's heard of Suzuki.
Argento's too spooky.
But they picked a good one with Mike Leigh.

One more film I've noticed for the SFIFF line-up (the Doc Film Institute had postcards out at the Kabuki during their three-day-stint of Oscar nominees last month): a new documentary on Cachao, produced by Tom Luddy.
